At the very beginning of the this assignment, I felt as if this project is very childish and boring. Once getting the supplies and thinking about the idea of putting this whole art piece together, it made think about the freedom we have as kids when it came to out. People at a young age tend to create their creativity and thoughts out of nothing. The idea of this project was hard in the beginning due to the amount of freedom and lack of directions. However, having less directions made it more easier and funnier during the process of putting this project together. Painting with no subject was confusing with little to no direction making it different from most of our projects. I was not sure if i was doing all the steps properly. But once I started throwing paint on to the paper allowed me to experience a feeling I’ve never felt in a long time. It was the feeling of inspired and creative with no barriers or restrictions. This project allowed me understand how important it is to be able to create art without actually knowing or having guidance. The whole concept of rules and directions causes us as inventors and creators to be restricted and controlled making it hard to enhance our creativity.
